More Than A Game

April 15, 2012

So today baseball honors the great Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson was one of the greatest players of all time, and his legacy still lives on today. Jackie was the first African-American player in baseball history and his contribution to the game is immeasurable. That got me thinking about baseball players legacies. So I remembered this ESPN E-60 video I saw a few years back, that featured Jamie Moyer. Moyer is the oldest active player in baseball and he will also leave a lasting legacy. A legacy not as well know as Jackie’s, but as important none the less. I watched this video and it really touched my heart. This video proves that not all athletes are cold-hearted money-grubbing shitheads. I HIGHLY encourage you to watch this story. This is story is powerful and uplifting and I really hope you take the time to check it out. E-60 is a great show and even if you’re not a sports fan, you will find something to like.  Happy Sunday! See you kids next week.
