Some Girls

November 22, 2011

Tuesday was a great day in music. The Rolling Stones re-released the classic (1978) Some Girls album. This is the new deluxe version with like 11 new/old songs. I am a huge Stones fan, and this album is one of their absolute best. This is when albums were good and damn near every song was great on this one. The Stones had some highs and lows. over 40 years. This album to me stood out at the end of the  70’s decade as one of the bands best.  From 1965- 1973 they were just awesome. I love it when they got into the country phase with the help of Gram Parsons. The Sticky Fingers, Exile on Mainstreet, and Let it Bleed maybe one of the best 5 years runs of albums for any band. Do yourself a favor and buy this album, I promise you will not be disappointed. The Stones are arguably a top 5 band of all time. To many people they are the greatest band of all time. This album harkens back to the glory days of rock. Thanks for reading…here is the track listing and a song from Some Girls you may know!
